Wildt Wins Rotary Scholarship

Bethany Wildt was one of six Des Moines Public Schools students to receive an $8,000 scholarships from the Rotary Club of Des Moines. The money will help Bethany pay for the college of her choice. Jazz Fusion Dessert Concert a Success

Visitors enjoyed great music and tasty desserts at the Hoover Jazz Fusion Dessert Concert this week. The Hoover Jazz Combo and Hoover String Fusion performed. In case you haven’t heard, Hoover’s String Fusion is an auditioned alternative strings group. The students played electric instruments and also danced while playing their acoustic instruments. We have great music programs at Hoover High School! Proceeds from Tuesday night’s concert went to support the Hoover Band and Orchestra programs.
