Academic Decathlon Team to Compete at State
Congratulations to Hoover’s Academic Decathlon team! They have been invited to represent us at the state Academic Decathlon competition in March. The team placed 6th overall at last week’s regional competition at Drake, with Alice Buon Ya receiving a bronze medal for her knowledge of the Art topic. This year’s theme is “Welcome to the 60’s”, with each of the ten categories of competition relating to the 1960’s culture, politics and economy.
