The Hypnotic Brass Meets Hoover Brass

The Des Moines Civic Center became a classroom for Hoover band director Ryan Rowley and ten of his brass musicians on Friday. They had the opportunity to take a master class from the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, an award-winning group of musicians who combine jazz, funk and hip-hop to take the classic brass ensemble in a new direction. Important Info for Incoming Seniors

Before our incoming seniors can begin school in the fall, they must meet a new mandatory state vaccination requirement. Students without proof of a meningitis vaccination or an exemption will not be allowed to attend classes. As of Aug. 1, 43% of incoming Hoover seniors do not have this vaccination.
