Hoover Students Mark Universal Children’s Day

Hoover students put on their school colors Tuesday and visited three Des Moines elementary schools in honor of Universal Children’s Day. The day was established by the United Nations in 1954 to promote international togetherness and improve children’s welfare. Hoover Drama presents Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella this November 9, 10, and 11th at 7pm. The most recent adaptation of the classic tale turns the story on it’s head and encourages today’s princesses to take their fate into their own hands. Iowa Supreme Court Hears Cases at Hoover

Occasionally the court hits the road in a deliberate effort to raise Iowans’ consciousness of how their state’s judicial system goes about its work.
