HOOVER STEM & DRAKE U. PARNTER FOR INNOVATION

Hoover’s STEM Academy Research Methods I class partnered with several students from Drake U. as part of an entrepreneurship and innovation initiative.  Drake students – all of whom own their own businesses – helped the Hoover Research I students to better understand what entrepreneurship and innovation are, as well as to begin thinking about how their classroom research projects might become an entry point for a business or innovation that changes the world.  The partnership will continue, as Drake students return in a few weeks to help Hoover students develop a ‘business model canvas’ and prepare for a visit to the Drake Entrepreneurship & Innovation Week festivities on Drake’s campus at the end of October.
