HHS Global Engage

As an IB World School, Hoover is always looking for ways to develop internationally-minded students.  One way is to develop knowledge and understanding of issues that reach beyond our walls.  Each month, students and staff will engage with one of the United Nation’s global goals.  These areas of focus include ‘peace’, the eradication of poverty, and welfare of children…just to name a few!

Students will experience HHS Global Engage in a variety of ways, but the purpose is always the same – educating our students to become caring members of a better and more peaceful world.  October’s focus is the eradication of poverty, with October 17 being the UN’s International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.
