ACDEC SUCCESS AT STATE

Hoover’s Academic Decathlon team represented the school well over the weekend of March 3-4, 2017.  Colby Williams earned an individual silver medal for her interview and Max Tensen earned a bronze medal for his knowledge of this year’s music curriculum.  The team also significantly improved its overall score when compared to both this year’s regional competition and last year’s state competition by nearly 10%. Team members include:  Sylvia Nguyen, Mai Dang, Max Tensen, Colby Williams, Pryce Johnson, Nick Lockin, Stephanie Martinez Melo and JonTeria Brown.  Go huskies!
