Students Visit UNI Fashion Department

This past Tuesday, 4 Hoover students toured University of Northern Iowa’s fashion department. The students included Julie Le, Keren Carmenate, Paw Htoo and Thlani Henry. There, they were able to see state of the art technology for testing fabrics and fibers. They were able to learn and play a bit on Adobe Illustrator and create their own fabric. They were also able to tour the campus and get a first real experience of what a college campus looks and feels like. After the day had ended, all 4 students admitted they could see themselves not only attending UNI, but majoring in the Human Sciences fashion department.
