Hoover Academic Decathlon Goes to State

Hoover’s AcDec team is going to State!  The team placed in the top 12 large schools at the recent Regional competition at Drake University, which earns them a place at the state tournament in Johnston, IA during the first week of March.  Students compete in academic areas such as economics, language and literature, mathematics, science and social science, as well as performance areas of interviewing, speaking and essay-writing.
