Students Visit Industrial Tech Dept. at ISU

Thirty-four students from Hoover and East were invited to an open house on Friday, November 2nd to tour and do lots of hands on activities in the Industrial technology department at Iowa State University.  The students were introduced to all of the professors and then split up into six groups.  The activities that they were introduced to and participated in were, plastic welding, 3D printing, robotics, injection molding, CNC machining, screen printing, hydraulics, and electric motors.

At the end the students were told about scholarships and the new facilities that will be completed in 2014.
