For Universal Children’s Day, student leaders from Hoover High School engaged with future Huskies. Members of the Hoover Difference Makers – including many members of the school’s Student Council and National Honor Society – first went to the Science Center of Iowa’s preschool before visiting their neighbors at Moore Elementary School. This student exchange is entering its 36th year and proves to be one of the most rewarding educational opportunities offered to the students of Des Moines Public Schools.
