Big news for Hoover High School: we are the new home for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at DMPS! Students will be able to begin pursuing the IB diploma in August 2019. Click the headline more about this change and the growth of our Hoover-Meredith IB campus.

The Hoover 2017-2018 yearbook came home with eight awards from the Iowa High School Press Association Fall Conference.  Seniors Ana Marquez Callabero, Maddie Freeman-Grosland and graduate Emma Andrew received awards in photography. Hoover Drama presented She Kills Monsters October 18, 19, & 20 at 7pm in the Denis Hildreth Auditorium at Hoover High School.  Congrats to the students who put in long hours and worked as a team to  successfully present a great show!

Hoover High School’s STEM Research Methods class engaged with Drake University students around entrepreneurship and innovation today. Students built off of a previous work session to design business models from their research project uses of the barley plant, with ideas ranging from creating cereal to making pillows.
