iJag Attends Leadership Conference

This past Thursday (October 22, 2015), several Hoover students were invited to attend iJAG’s annual Leadership Conference. The Leadership Development Conference (LDC) is designed for elected students of the Career Association as a way to learn more about their role as part of an organization and build confidence in their leadership abilities.  The conference has also been designed to allow students the opportunity to work as a team, brainstorm individually, discuss within small groups, problem solve, and think critically; while all having a great time connecting with other leaders across the state.  Another goal of LDC is to recognize these exceptional students for their dedication to iJAG. The LDC was held in Des Moines at Camp Dodge. The following communities also attended this event: Council Bluffs, Mason City, Waterloo, Iowa City, Ottumwa, Saydel, Des Moines, Perry and Creston.
