Physics Classes Study Projectile Motion

Mr. Blair’s physics classes used a 1/5 scale catapult to study projectile motion on Monday and Tuesday, October 15th and 16th. Students from previous years built the catapult, more correctly known as a trebuchet, and the classes launched it 4 times each at the basketball courts. The Conceptual Physics classes used the data collected to find out how fast the cement balls went. The AP Physics class took the data further to find the amount of force the balls applied to the ground.
