Winter Clothing Drive

On Saturday, December 13th, Hoover ELL students who attend ELL Saturday School for literacy enrichment put on their Winter Wear Clothing Drive, which was open to the public.  After collecting donations for the past several months, the amount collected was able to help about 75 refugee families.  Families went away with Winter clothing like coats, scarves, mittens, hats, and sweatshirts, as well as personal hygiene products like shampoo, toothbrushes, lotion, etc . The adults who attend Saturday School weekly were also gifted with Hyvee giftcards, thanks to generous donations from St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.  Thank you to all that donated!
